To claim that this type of activity represents learning Yoga is similar to someone learning the hand and finger exercises practiced by great pianists and thinking that they are learning to play and indeed, even are playing the piano.

This is not the fault of the student nor even the teacher sometimes as most of the teachers were taught wrongly by their own teachers! Imagine if most of the piano teachers only taught these exercises and called the practice - Piano Class. Why wouldn t the student feel he/she was learning to play the piano? The same goes for Yoga Most Yoga students retain information by actually performing a technique.

Why? When you're taking lessons at a yoga studio, it's awkward to carry a blanket, so ring the studio before you start, and ask what kind of mat they recommend as Yoga mat can be essential. Well, it seems normal to him or her, but you have to be calm and keep your Yoga class as organized as possible.

Sometimes, Yoga students make appointments, and do not cancel, or show up for them.
